Daddy Issues - Matthew - pages 239-246

I loved reading about Jesus' baptism today.  But it wasn't the baptism of water, but the baptism of His Father's Voice, that pulled my heart strings.  There is something powerful about your Father speaking into your heart, especially in those crucial rights of passage like we see here in the Son of God.  He needed to hear from His Dad.

“This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”

I don't know where you find yourself today and what you need the Father to speak over you (into you), but I hope His voice will pierce through the clouds and fully immerse you, baptize you through and through.

Daddy, speak.
